  Call for Papers - Brazilian Journal of Innovation

Special Issue on Industrial Policy and Innovation 
 Deadline for Submissions: July, 31st 2014

 

The editors of Brazilian Journal of Innovation invite contributions to a Special Issue on Industrial Policy and Innovation, to be published in early 2015. Manuscripts should be original, dealing with theoretical or applied issues, and related to the subjects below.


Subjects of interest:

- Fundamentals of the “new industrial policy”: rationalities, coordination, institutions, industrial strategy and sectoral choices, relationships with macroeconomic policies, alignment with related policies such as foreign trade and international relations; science, and technology; financing; international economic regulations; antitrust; regional development, and other related policies;

- Experiences of modern industrial policy (developed and developing countries);

- Industrial policy and innovation systems (national, sectoral, regional, local);

- Industrial policy and production systems (domestic and global supply chains);

- Industrial policy and productivity (capital, labor, technology, innovation);

- Industrial policy and competitiveness (sectoral, systemic);

- Industrial policy and the future of manufacturing – the “revolution” of materials, additive manufacturing, and other breakthrough technologies;

- Industrial policy and sustainability;

- Energy and industry.


Author Guidelines:

Manuscripts submitted to Special Issue on Industrial Policy and Innovation must be original and should follow the Brazilian Journal of Innovation guidelines. When submitting, please include <N. Especial> before the title of the manuscript. Submitted papers will be subjected to RBI Peer Review Process.
